Celsion Names Tardugno President

Celsion Corp., which sells heat activated systems to treat cancer, said Thursday it named Michael H. Tardugno president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 3.

Tardugno, 55, previously served as senior vice president and general manager at Mylan Laboratories Inc., which he joined in February 2005. Before that, he was executive vice president and founding member of Songbird Hearing Inc.

He also served as senior vice president of ConvaTec, a division of Bristol Myers Squibb from 1996 to 1998, and vice president of technology development and manufacturing for Bausch & Lomb from 1989 to 1995.
