Medarex Receives a Milestone Payment from ImClone

Medarex Inc. said it has received a milestone payment from licensing partner ImClone Systems Inc. after regulators accepted a new drug application for their human IgG1 antibody experimental cancer treatment.

Medarex added that it may garner future payments and royalties from the clinical development and commercialization of the cancer agent, which was developed using Medarex's UltiMAb technology.
