New Seminars at CPhI Japan
Visitors to Asia’s leading pharmaceutical ingredients and contract services events- CPhI & ICSE Japan, Tokyo BIG SIGHT 18-20 April 2007- will experience a number of new features and attractions, designed to add value and maximise the benefits of attendance.
Introduced at this years CPhI/ICSE Japan are four dedicated exhibitor zones, focused on specific areas of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process- ‘Drug Discovery Support’; ‘Pharmaceutical Excipients,’ ‘Testing & Analysis’ and ‘Human Resource’.
Japan’s premier industry meeting place, CPhI & ICSE Japan will host over 400 exhibitors from 21 different countries, including international majors such as Saltigo, Solvay, Medichem, BASF, Degussa and Jubilant, alongside key national players API Corporation, Koa Shoji, CBC and KNC Laboratories. Reflecting market trends, 2007 also marks an increase in the presence of Indian companies with several first-time exhibitors including Calyx and Hetero Drugs.
Free sessions include a keynote seminar and a special seminar, featuring a cross section of speakers, from leading pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and SAFC, to government agencies, academia and industry bodies. Running in parallel with the free program will be a three-day, delegate-payable conference, focusing on a hot industry topic each day of the show. Day 1 will look at the Indian market, day 2 Contract Manufacturing and day 3 Generics.
Six global pavilions will showcase companies from the UK, Italy, Germany, Korea and the burgeoning Indian outsourcing market. In addition there will be two Chinese Pavilions featuring China Chamber of Commerce (CCCMHPIE) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). Japan Bulk Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association will have its own pavilion comprising 19 of the country’s leading high-quality bulk suppliers, exhibiting cutting-edge technologies and services.
